The award I won was for the first two works of a series I planned on children involved in war. The past weekend I was continuing working on this series, now trying to use pastel on a girl from the Colombian FARC.
I was not happy with the results, but I was a little tired to continue struggling with the pastels so I took a break and made an Indian ink drawing with quill. It was years since my last drawing with Indian Ink! I still like it very much, however I should be very careful to control my hand and the flow of ink.
The model was a WWII reenactor whose photo I found in the Internet.
A Blog dedicated to the visual arts: drawing, sketching, painting, etc. It presents my works of visual art and part of its development process.
